Beauty in The Body

Hello Daughter! We are so thankful you are here!

When you consider the body and all of it's complex intricate parts, do you every wonder how beautiful it is sewn together? Psalm 139:13 shares with us how God formed our inward parts, He knitted us together in our mother's womb. Such a delicate balance of inter-dependence among each part of our body, yet it works perfectly together. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. . . .

The Body of Christ is no different. Ephesians 4:16 shares that "From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." In this passage, Paul is teaching us that the body of Christ when working properly makes the body grow so it can "Build itself up in Love." I Corinthians 12:12-14 goes on to explain: "Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body.... Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many." And just as our body is fearfully and wonderfully made, so The Body of Christ is as well. Filled with Hearts and Souls of those in love with Jesus with our Beautiful Savior at the center.

So, we are all baptized to form one body, a body continuously building itself up in love. When we accept this and live with the knowledge that we are an inter-dependent piece of the Body of Christ, we learn that we have strength in Jesus, we learn that we have Sisters in Christ who Love us and want to not only see us grow but to help "build us up" or "point us to Jesus." And the best part, we get to watch God move in other's lives. It's truly exciting, exhilarating even, amazing to watch God change a heart.

And in the end (or shall we say the beginning), The Body continues to build itself up in Love. 2000+ years of watching everyday people find the peace and grace from Jesus Christ is the fruit of this truth and continues even now.

Father, thank You for allowing us the unique opportunity to not only grow closer to You, but also to be able to develop relationships with others who Love You and seek to grow in their Faith. Thank You for allowing us to grow closer to one another and build one another up as we all focus on Jesus. I pray Father that Your Peace, Your Grace and Your Love will transcend all understanding in and through us and through Jesus. we will see an explosion of Your Love in our lifetime. We Love You.
